Francis Malcolm Science Center

The FRANCIS MALCOLM SCIENCE CENTER is an educational facility boasting both indoor & outdoor nature classrooms as well as the northernmost planetarium in the continental United States.

Since it's opening in 1983, the Center has welcomed many thousands of Aroostook County and western New Brunswick's school children. We offer a wide variety of astronomical and science/nature programs at no cost to all public, private, and home schools throughout the school year. Please see links to our nature and planetarium programming for further details.

Additionally, we offer all of our programs to youth and adult community organizations for a small fee.  Based on our educator's availability, programs may be scheduled after business hours or on Saturday's.

Thank you for your interest in the FRANCIS MALCOLM SCIENCE CENTER!
