Planetarium Programs

Since 1983, the Francis Malcolm Planetarium stands out as the northern-most planetarium theatre in the continental United States. A 373 Spitz Space Systems projector and console superbly simulates seasonal star fields upon a 7-meter dome. Special effects bays and supplementary audio systems complement the wide ranging program menu for schools and the general public. 35 unidirectional seats with additional capacity upwards to 45 visitors offer a comfortable, elegant, and unique venue for teaching and promoting inspiration pertaining to the astronomical Universe. Observations with Francis Malcolm Planetarium's 13-inch Dobsonian included, weather permitting.
